Get ready for a week-long mission trip that will train your students to be on mission!
Each day students will explore a new aspect of THE Cause:
- Monday: what is THE Cause
- Tuesday: praying with passion
- Wednesday: pursuing with love
- Thursday: persuading with truth
- Friday: creating a plan to multiply
By the time your group leaves, your students will have the foundation, some practice and confidence, and with your help, a solid plan for leading THE Cause of Christ in their own communities back home.
THE Cause of Christ — Making disciples who make disciples is THE Cause Jesus has called all of us to. (Matthew 28:19)
Lead THE Cause at its Core:
Inspiration (Fuel for your ministry efforts)
With engaging sessions, dynamic speakers, and hands-on training, students will understand how they can personally take part in being a disciple of Christ. They will gain a renewed passion for their faith, their love for Jesus, and their desire to reach the lost.
Worship is also a key component of the week and the mornings and evenings incorporate time for quieting themselves and worshipping their God.
Preparation (Solid training and strategy)
Along with being able to communicate the gospel simply and fully, your teens will gain real skills for engaging others in spiritual conversations and leading others into a relationship with Jesus.
Core Training breakout sessions include in-depth time on the GOSPEL acrostic, Ask/Admire/Admit, and how to wrap up a gospel conversation. For returning students, the deeper level Alumni Track will engage students on what it means to be and make disciples.
Additionally, you and your students will spend time developing a customized strategic plan to begin to impact your own community with the Good News of Jesus when you get home.
Application (Putting Skin in the Game)
Move training from theory to practice! This week will provide your group with faith-stretching, evangelism experiences that will prepare your teens to engage their communities back home.
Two afternoons are set aside for your group to go into the city and participate in faith-stretching evangelism opportunities that put what they’ve learned into practice. Each of our locations are in or near a large metropolitan area which will allows them to engage people from all walks of life.
There is also time set aside for students to connect with their friends engage in a gospel conversation during the week. This builds a bridge back to their real lives and gives them something to follow up with as soon as they get back home.
